1. Integrate palliative care education and training through a competency based, hybrid, tranformational mode for health and socual care workers in Gaza
a. Undergraduate medical students
b. Undergraduate nursing students
c. Postgraduate residents (communication and ethics )
d. Postgraduate professional Diploma and Masters programmes
2. Through improved competencies improve acess to palliative care and alleviation of preventable serious health related suffering
Project aims
Educational skills for undergraduate multidisciplinary teaching in palliative care both onsite and distant mode
Support for the Diploma and Masters programme to include development of materials, innovative learning modes, setting and marking assignments, mentorship
Support for mentoring clinical skills for practice modules
Skills in development and implementation of communication and ethics training for all residents in training by the MOH
