The NHS Scotland Global Citizenship Framework sets out ten Principles which underpin the NHS Scotland Global Citizenship Programme and the direction for global citizenship in NHS Scotland.

Sustainability Action is used to support and promote staff behaviour change activities that contribute to delivering sustainability across all parts of the NHS.
The NHS Scotland climate emergency and sustainability strategy: 2022-2026 document sets out plans for NHS Scotland to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and impact on the environment, adapt to climate change and to better contribute to the United Nation sustainable development goals. It has been developed by the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland Assure.
The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere.
